Facebook recently add a new feature to it's messenger and Facebook group where as soon as you read message from anybody on Facebook messenger. he or she will going to be notified about that you have seen there message. Even in facebook group if you see any post from member he will going to be notified about you have seen there post. Initially people like the feature but this feature reduces user privacy. Officially there is no way to disable this feature but you can block this by using browser extension and userscript.
Once you disable seen message using extension then no one able to know whether you seen there message or not. But won't able to know whether they see your message because it completely blocks the seen feature.
Disable Facebook "Seen" Feature
For chrome users
- Go to Chrome Web store FB unseen extension
- Then click one Add to Chrome button.
- As soon as you click this option extension download and install in chrome.
After installation it will remove Facebook messenger seen feature.
For Firefox users
- Firefox user firs you have to install Greasemonkey addon. because you have to install one userscript that require Greasemonkey addon.
- The install go to this webpage and then click install option on the webpage to install Facebook Stealth.
- After installing all it will start blocking seen message.
